BRYANT (KATV) - A teenage armed robbery suspect is behind bars after a search in a wooded area near the convenience store he allegedly robbed.

Justin Jamieson, 18, from North Little Rock was taken into custody, charged with robbing the Speed Zone on Reynolds Road Thursday night about 10:00.

According to police, Jamieson entered the store appearing to be armed and shouted he would kill the clerk if he did not give him money.

Jamieson then allegedly ran away into a wooded area still along Reynolds Road. Police responded with a K-9 unit which quickly found Jamieson behind the Lowe's store lying face down.

Jamieson is charged with aggravated robbery, a class Y felony.

The clerk at the store, Jacob Clendening, was charged with criminal conspiracy.
