FAYETTEVILLE (AP) - The University of Arkansas has announced the signing of a high school basketball player from Mississippi.
Coach Mike Anderson said in a statement Thursday that 6-foot-9-inch forward Moses Kingsley of New Albany, Miss., has signed a national letter of intent to play for the Razorbacks.
Kingsley played for the Arkansas Wings this past summer as the team won the AAU national championship. He averaged 12.4 points, 10.5 rebounds and 7 blocked shots per game at New Albany High School last season.
UA says Kingsley also had scholarship offers from Florida, Louisville, Memphis, Mississippi State, North Carolina State, Ole Miss, Tennessee and Tulane.
