(KATV, Promenade at Chenal) Little Rock – The highly anticipated taco bar and margarita purveyor, Local Lime is scheduled to open Thursday, November 15, 2012. The 3,200 square foot restaurant is located just across from the Chenal 9 Theatres with IMAX, and Maggie Moo's Ice Cream & Treatery.
The menu boasts authentic, fresh flavor options including Queso Blanco topped with fresh jalapeno, Mango-Papaya Salsa, Fresh Salads, Taco Plates, Local Nachos and of course fresh-squeezed Lime Margarita's. Average menu price is around $10.
Local Lime will be open dinner only Thursday, November 15th – Sunday, November 18th. The following week they'll resume normal hours for lunch and dinner Sunday-Saturday 11am-11pm with the exception of a temporary close on Monday, November 19 and Thanksgiving Day.
Local Lime will be also be one of the only restaurants in west Little Rock to offer personal valet service to and from the store front. Ambassadors Plus, an Arkansas owned valet company will support the valet service for Local Lime during dinner hours only, 5pm to 11pm.
The owners of Big Orange Burgers also located at The Promenade at Chenal have partnered together for this exciting new concept. Co-owner and Chef Ben Brainard, who's worked at Boulevard Bread Co. and ZaZa Fine Salad + Wood Fired Pizza Co will be the culinary mastermind for Local Lime.
