Random Act of Kindness Day 1: Daniel

Posted: Updated:

We learned about Daniel from a local auto shop. For months his car has been breaking down, and to fix it  he could only pay a little at a time because of his health.

"About a year ago I was asleep in my apartment, and it was on fire and I was burned on over 48 percent of my body in the third degree," Daniel said. "I've had 28 surgeries so far I need more surgeries I've been trying to recover from that and go back to work and stuff and it's just been a hard year."

So as our first Random Act of Kindness, we paid for Daniel to get his car fixed.

Watch Tulsa's Channel 8 tonight at 10 p.m. to see who is next. If you'd like to nominate someone for a Random Act of Kindness email kindness@ktul.com.
