(KATV) Hendrix College in Conway
will name its new sports stadium in honor of three alumni who died in wars.
Young-Wise stadium is set
to open in September 2013. The school is working to raise an estimated $8-million
for the facility that will be home to football, lacrosse, track and field and
intramurals.
Young was killed in 1918
in France during World War I. Jeremy Wise was killed in Afghanistan in 2009 and
Benjamin Wise died in Afghanistan in January.
