Homeless man wanted for trio of armed robberies in Jonesboro

JONESBORO (KATV) - Police are looking for a man they say is responsible for three armed robberies in Jonesboro over a ten day period.

First, employees said a black man in a gray hoodie, dark pants and sunglasses walked into the Family Dollar at 316 E Johnson Avenue Tuesday, October 30 and robbed two cashiers at knife point. He allegedly ordered both employees to the back of the store before running away.

Three days later, a man wearing what appeared to be the same clothing with the same physical description walked into the Tobacco Superstore on Caraway Road and robbed a cashier and a customer at gunpoint. He then ordered the victims to the back of the store before running away.

Then on Thursday, November 8, security footage showed a man appearing to wear the same clothes with the same physical description robbing the Dollar General at 4003 E Highland. He took money then ordered all employees to the back of the store before running away.

Police have named 31-year-old Michael Harrison as the suspect. In a press release, they said he was homeless and has been staying in or around hotels in the area. He is believed to be armed and dangerous.
