Har-Ber to host LR Central for third straight year

FAYETTEVILLE (AP) - Little Rock Central is well prepped for its first-round playoff visit to Springdale Har-Ber. The Tigers just hope their visit to northwest Arkansas fares better this season than it has the last two.

Central (4-6) travels to Har-Ber (6-4) on Friday night, the third straight season the Tigers have opened the playoffs against the Wildcats. They've lost the previous two visits to Springdale, including a 21-16 setback last season.

Central won three straight late in the season to earn the 7A-Central's No. 6 seed, while Har-Ber finished as the West's No. 3 seed behind Bentonville and Fayetteville

The Wildcats have won 5 of their last six games after a difficult opening nonconference schedule, and coach Chris Wood has them prepped for a second-round rematch with Fort Smith Southside, which Har-Ber defeated earlier this season.
