Posted: Updated:

CABOT (KATV) - A 16-year-old missing since October 19 has been found safe.

Tristian "Dusty" Higgins returned home safe and sound, according to Cabot PD Public Information Officer Sgt. Keith Graham. Details on how he was found and returned are still being investigated.

Higgins' guardian told police Dusty got into an argument with a teacher at the ACE School in Cabot around 10:00 October 18 and ran away from the campus. Jacksonville police checked his mother's home in Jacksonville and said they saw him running out the back door. They ran after him but lost him during the foot chase.

Again, he was found safe and returned home November 7. Stay with KATV.com for more details as they become available.
