LITTLE ROCK (KATV) - In the Second Congressional District, Rep. Tim Griffin held on to his seat in the U.S. Congress.
Griffin won a second term by beating Democratic Challenger Herb Rule.
He gave a victory speech in front of supporters at the Embassy Suites Tuesday night, vowing to help cut government spending and praising fellow Arkansas GOP winners.
Griffin will re-join the U.S. House of Representatives, where Republicans will still hold a majority.
