Monday last day for early voting

Posted: Updated:

There is only one more day for Arkansans to cast an early vote. After weeks of hitting the polls early, Monday is the final day to avoid the long lines of election day.

This has been one of the tightest presidential races in recent history. Here in Pulaski County, more than 5,500 people voted today alone breaking an all-time record for early voting in the county. But there is still one day left for you to vote for your preferred candidate.

On Monday the only site open for Pulaski County voters is the Pulaski County Regional Building on Markham.

They will be open from 8 a.m. To 5 p.m.

For Saline County registered voters you must go to the Saline County Courthouse and if you are registered in Faulkner County you are to vote at the Faulkner County Courthouse.

Both of courthouses will be open from 8 a.m. To 5 p.m. These are the only voting sites open for all three counties on Monday. Here is what you can do if you have any questions come Monday or election day on Tuesday.

"If they have any problems they either call here the election office or they call the clerks office and they will expediently be told where to go to vote and you know, you know we had the redistricting so that may cause a little confusion but again if they call those places they'll have no problem," Ozell Snider, Chair of the Pulaski County Election Commission.

In order to vote you do need a valid form of identification. And if you need a ride to the polls remember you can call the Yellow Cab at (501)222-2222 and they will send someone to get you.

For any other question regarding your designated polling location go to www.VotePulaski.com or call (501) 340-8336.
