WILMAR, Ark. (AP) - Authorities say one person is dead and two are injured in a six-car chain-reaction crash in southern Arkansas.
State police say the crash happened Monday night on U.S. 278 in Drew County. A preliminary report says the driver of a Peterbilt truck failed to stop at a railroad crossing and struck a Dodge van driven by 66-year-old Elizabeth Ann Davis of Warren.
The collision set off a chain-reaction crash involving six vehicles. State police say Davis was killed in the collision, while two others were injured and taken to a hospital in Monticello.
