FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) - John L. Smith says he believes Arkansas will remain focused for the rest of the season and can still reach a bowl game.
The Razorbacks (3-5, 2-3 Southeastern Conference) suffered a 30-27 loss to Mississippi last week, meaning they must win 3 of their final four games to become bowl eligible for the fourth straight season. Those games are against teams that are a combined 28-5.
Smith says tight end Chris Gragg and running back Knile Davis will miss this week's game with Tulsa. Gragg reinjured a leg injury against the Rebels, while Davis injured his right hamstring.
The Golden Hurricane (7-1, 5-0 Conference USA) has lost 17 straight to Arkansas. However, Tulsa has won seven straight since an opening loss at Iowa State and leads the nation in sacks.
