Great American SPAM Championship

1 (1 pound) loaf frozen white bread dough, thawed
2 tablespoons canola oil
1 (12 ounce) can Hot & Spicy SPAM, diced very small
2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
3 green onions, sliced
3 dips of choice (recommend: salsa, southwest ranch & chipotle cheese)
1) Roll out dough to 1/2-inch thickness. Brush with oil. Cut into 1-inch pieces and place in a large bowl. Add the SPAM and 1 3/4 cups cheese. Toss together to coat bread.
2) Arrange pieces in a 9x5-inch oval on a greased baking sheet, layering evenly as needed. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 30 minutes or until doubled in size.
3) Before placing in the oven, sprinkle top with the green onions. Sprinkle another 1/4 cup of cheese on top.
4) Bake at 350 degrees F for 15 minutes. Cover with foil and bake 5 to 10 minutes longer or until golden brown. Pull-apart the bread and "dunk" in the side dips of choice.
Yields: 1 loaf
