Students taken to hospital after school bus crash

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) - Authorities in northwest Arkansas say two students and an adult were taken to a hospital after a school bus and a pickup truck collided.

Fayetteville Police spokesman Sgt. Craig Stout says the bus and truck collided head-on Monday afternoon. Stout says details of the collision were not known and were still being investigated- but that the injuries did not appear life-threatening.

Stout says a few students were on the bus during the crash. He says 2 of them were taken to the hospital with minor injuries. He did not have their ages.

Stout says the woman driving the pickup was also taken to the hospital with a head injury.
