Two men killed in Pope County ATV accident

POPE COUNTY (KATV) -

Two Texas men have died as a result of a ATV accident in Pope County Saturday evening.

Arkansas State Police say 44-year old John Beard and 48-year old Jonathan West were traveling on Forest Service Road number 1310 when the driver missed a curve and hit a tree.

The two were pronounced dead at the scene.

Beard and West lived in communities near Houston, Texas.
