Maumelle votes to extend Counts Massie Road toward I-40

Maumelle residents passed all three ballot proposals for their town during Tuesday's election.

One of the items includes allotting money from a property tax to pay for extending Counts Massie Road. The plan is continue the road toward I-40 in hopes of one day getting a new interchange for the interstate. For more on the plan to extend Counts Massie, click here.

Residents also voted for resurfacing and widening Crystal Hill Road and to build a new fire station.

For: 1,090 or 54.36 percent

Against:  915 or 45.64 percent

 

Question 2

Counts Massie Road Extension And Utility Extension Project Capital Improvement Bonds

For: 1,111 or 55.38 percent

Against: 895 or 44.62 percent

 

Question 3

Fire Station Project Capital Improvement Bonds

For: 1,266 or 63.05 percent

Against: 742 or 36.95 percent
