Main Street Food Truck Festival

Posted: Updated:

LITTLE ROCK (KATV) - Whether you're looking for a sugar fix or a spicy Mexican fajita, there's probably a food truck catering specifically to your stomach.

There are 88 of these mobile small businesses registered in the city of Little Rock. Many rely heavily on social media and word of mouth for advertising, but each one is a boost in employment.

In fact, with a truck and a great idea, some folks who would never have dreamed of actually owning their own business have ventured into the market, reaching out to the Small Business Association for help, and opening their windows to an ever-growing number of customers who have been waiting for that niche to be filled.

Thirty-one food trucks are expected to line Main Street Saturday from 10 a.m. To 3 p.m.
