AUBURN, Ala. (AP) - Arkansas and Auburn are both trying to put dreadful Septembers behind them.
The two struggling Southeastern Conference Western Division teams meet Saturday after collecting one win apiece last month.
Arkansas wide receiver Cobi Hamilton says his 1-4 team is "in a desperate situation for a win and I think everybody knows that."
The Tigers are coming off an open date after their best game of the season in a 2-point loss to No. 4 LSU. They're 1-3. Both teams have lost their first two SEC games.
Auburn defensive end Dee Ford insists a loss "wouldn't be the death of our season."
The teams' biggest deficiencies will be matched up against each other. Auburn ranks 114th nationally in passing offense and Arkansas' pass defense is 117th.
