Jacobi Robinson, 20, was arrested Friday after a joint investigation by North Little Rock and Jacksonville officers. He was found at his home in Jacksonville and taken into custody without struggle.

Surveillance video showed three suspects involved in the robbery-homicide on Saturday, September 22. Police said after robbing the store in the 3600 block of MacArthur, one suspect walked back in and shot 29-year old Akiya Egeston, killing her instantly.

Investigators said in a press release Robinson confessed that he was involved and was the one who shot the clerk. He has been charged with capital murder and aggravated robbery.

Howard has also been connected to an aggravated robbery in Jacksonville on September 21. Investigators obtained a warrant for him in that incident.
