Warren police shoot man while serving warrant

WARREN, Ark. (AP) - Arkansas State Police is investigating an officer-involved shooting in south Arkansas.

Authorities say the shooting happened Thursday night in Warren. Authorities say Warren police Sgt. Robbie Ashcraft and officer Aaron Hines went to a business in Warren to serve an outstanding warrant for aggravated robbery on 29-year-old Davdrin Goffin of Warren.

State police say the officers shot Goffin after he broke free as they were handcuffing him.

Goffin is now being treated in a Pine Bluff hospital. Authorities say prosecutors will determine whether the shooting was justified.
