Queens of Q's: Homemade Chalkboard Paint

Chalkboard Paint

Ingredients
White Non-Sanded Grout
Color of your choice Acrylic Paint
White Acrylic Paint
Black Acrylic Paint

 Directions
Measure 1 ½ teaspoons of grout, pour in mixing bowl. Measure & add ¼ cup of colored paint. Add 1 ½ teaspoons of white acrylic paint, add 1/8 teaspoon black acrylic paint. Stir for a few minutes. You may need to prime your surface so do so as needed. It may take 3 -4 coats of paint to get the coverage needed. When the surface is dry prep the surface for chalk. Talk a piece of chalk & lay on its side & cover the entire surface. Wipe clean & use as needed!

    "Lost Seal" from Civil War era returns to Saline County

    Saline County celebrated the return of it's “Lost Seal” by installing a historical civil war marker. The county hasn't had the seal since 1863 but it is now back in the counties possession.In 1996 Gary smith of Pine Bluff found discovered the seal with his metal detector in Grant County.More >>
