Games involving out-of-state opponents helped shake up the top of the Arkansas Associated Press high school football poll this week.
Bentonville beat Kansas City Rockhurst 24-7 and jumped from third to first, while Fayetteville lost to Memphis University School 42-20 and fell from first to third. North Little Rock is second after trouncing Lake Hamilton, 24-7.
Conway and Springdale Har-Ber remain fourth and fifth. West Memphis is sixth, and is followed by Greenwood and Camden Fairview. Cabot and Rogers Heritage enter the rankings at ninth and 10th.
Greenwood leads in Class 6A while Camden Fairview tops 5A. Among smaller schools, Nashville is No. 1 in Class 4A, Glen Rose and McGehee are tied in 3A and Junction City tops 2A, with East Poinsett County only a point back.
