After 12-years in the NBA, former Sooner star Eduardo Najera is calling it quits. He was drafted by Houston in 2000 and played for five different NBA teams.
Most recently with the Charlotte Bobcats.
He's retiring as a player, but he's not leaving the game. Eduardo is set to take over the head coaching job of the D-League's Texas Legends.
He says it's a dream come true and a perfect opportunity for his post-playing career.
Eduardo was the first Mexican-born player drafted in the NBA and now becomes the first Mexican-born head coach with an NBA organization.
