The Oklahoma City Thunder have reportedly reached an agreement on a new four-year contract with their head coach Scott Brooks.
His current contract was set to expire at Midnight Saturday. The two sides have been trying to get a deal in place for weeks. Brooks and his representatives reportedly turned down a four year, $16 million deal a few days ago.
The exact number Brooks will be making is unknown, but it's expected to be more than $4 million per season.
Under Brooks' tutelage, the Thunder have made the playoffs each of the past three seasons. In each of those seasons, OKC advanced further in the playoffs than the previous season.
In all, Brooks has a record of 198-144 with the Thunder.
