HOT SPRINGS, Ark. (AP) - Garland County authorities are looking for a man who allegedly abducted a woman from a residence, tortured her and possibly sexually assaulted her.

The sheriff's office said Monday the woman contacted them Sunday after escaping the assault, which began Thursday.

According to a sheriff's report, the victim says she was at a friend's house when the assailant came over, got mad and covered her face with a shirt. The report says the woman was driven to a camper, where her feet and hands were bound and she was burned with cigarettes and a torch over a 2-day period.

The report says the victim also was beaten and may have been sexually assaulted while she was unconscious.

Authorities searched the man's residence but he wasn't home.

No charges have been filed.
