Shooting in Downtown Little Rock, One Injured

(KATV) As the clubs in downtown Little Rock were preparing to close, gun shots were heard. Little Rock Police responded to the call at about 2 a.m. near the Peabody Hotel at the intersection of Markham and Main.

Officer Michelle Howard tells Channel Seven that a crowd gathered and when police tried to break it up, the suspect shot several rounds into the crowd.

At least three cars had bullet holes and 10 shell casing were recovered.

A man, Tracy Daniels, 20, was taken to UAMS with injuries. He was shot in the left shoulder and expected to make a full recovery.

Police say a dark car with its window shot out fled down south on Main Street.
