Tulsa 66ers guard Jerome Dyson has been called up to the NBA to play for the New Orleans Hornets.
Dyson, an NBA D-League All-Star this season, averaged 17.8 points, 3.9 assists, 3.5 rebounds and 1.7 steals per game for the 66ers this season, his second with the team.
The 24-year-old former University of Connecticut star participated in training camp with the Hornets in December and appeared in one pre-season game, scoring five points to go with a rebound and an assist against Memphis.
Dyson is the third 66ers player to be called up to the NBA this season. The others were Larry Owens and Ryan Reid.
