Shots ring out in Sheridan Saturday night leaving two young children without their father and their mother in critical condition.  It happened just before 10 o'clock at the Kirkland Heights Apartments on South Rose Street.

Police say Ronnie Davis, 30, walked into an apartment and shot his estranged wife, Laura Davis, 27, in the head.

When investigators say the woman's boyfriend struggled with the shooter and grabbed his gun and shot and killed him.
