Rock, Ark. (March 2, 2012) – Plan to bring the entire family to The
Promenade at Chenal on Saturday, March 17, 2012 from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm,
as the destination shopping and entertainment district hosts Recycle - Educate
– Donate. Sponsored by Waste Management, St. Vincent West and Crain Ford
Automotive.
Beginning
April 2, 2012, the Cities of Little Rock, North Little Rock and Sherwood along
with Waste Management will unveil an exciting new citywide recycling
initiative. Residential customers will begin receiving larger recycle bins
starting this week and will soon find this new initiative a way of making
recycling easier and fun…oh yes we said fun! The Promenade at Chenal has taken
its own steps toward becoming a more "green" facility and as a part of this
have partnered with Waste Management to educate customers on the great way
recycling can help everyone at the Recycle - Educate - Donate outdoor
event.
Parents
and kids alike will enjoy meeting Cycler Robot to learn all about recycling.
Most importantly event goers will have the opportunity to do a little recycling
themselves by donating gently used clothing and shoes to Goodwill. Customers
will receive special coupons with their donation; good for use at participating
stores and restaurants at The Promenade at Chenal. Free canvas tote bags to the
