Tulsa junior guard Taleya Mayberry was selected to the All-Conference USA First Team, as announced today by the league office.  This was Mayberry's first career honor and fourth for the Golden Hurricane since joining the league in 2005.

Mayberry posted a team-leading 14.7 points per game and 89 assists, was second in steals with 45, and added 3.7 rebounds per game and had nine blocks this season.  She ranked sixth in scoring, fourth in minutes played (35.8), fifth in free throw percentage (.775) and three-point field goals made (1.4), and seventh in assists among the league's best.

During the year, Mayberry scored double-figures in 22 contests, led TU in scoring 18 times, assists 17 times, steals seven times and rebounding three times.  She also became the eighth women's basketball player in school history to score 1,000 career points, and is currently seventh on the all-time scoring chart.

Former TU standout Jillian Robbins was a first-team honoree in 2006 and 2007, while Larrissa Williams picked up the honor in 2010.
