The Tulsa Golden Hurricane needed to win their final two game of the regular season to capture a share of the Conference USA title. But TU couldn't get their first win at UAB in Birmingham, AL. The Blazers win 68-64.
Jordan Clarkson scored 21 points. He had 15 in the second half.
The Golden Hurricane rallied from an eight-point halftime deficit to take the lead a couple of times in the second half. They tied the game at 64 with a Cody Maduka follow slam with 1:00 left on the clock.
Tulsa had a chance to tie or take the lead, but Clarkson's lay-up with :04 left wouldn't fall and UAB got the win.
The Golden Hurricane wrap up the regular season at home Saturday morning against Memphis. Tip-off is set for 11:00am.
