A man has been sentenced for the murder of a Cabot pawn shop owner. David Derreberry plead guilty Tuesday to Capital murder, aggrevated robbery, arson, theft of property, and 26 counts of theft of property firearms.
Derreberry was charged with killing 61-year-old Billy
Joe Pipkin, a Cabot pawn shop owner, then setting his pawn shop on fire
in April, 2011.
Derreberry has been given a life sentence without parole, plus the following court costs:
$150 Court costs
$20 booking fee
$250 DNA fee
$150 public defender
$45 jail support
