TULSA -- Steve Christie saved all but 2 of the 44 shots he faced; the first and the last. Unfortunately for the Oilers, the last came in sudden death overtime as Tulsa lost 2-1 to Fort Wayne.
The first goal came 3:12 into the first period when a loose puck came right to Chris Auger in the slot and buried top shelf.
The Oilers answered with 3:05 remaining in the second period on a Gary Steffes unassisted goal.
Fort Wayne's Kaleigh Shrock ended the 1-1 tie 3:02 into the overtime period.
The loss is the second in a row for Tulsa. The next game is Friday against Texas at the BOK Center.
