KATV Channel 7 - The Spirit of Arkansas: Campaign Season Kicks Off This Week in Arkansas

Campaign season in Arkansas kicks off with the filing period this week. Hundreds of candidates for office are expected to line up at the Capitol starting at noon Thursday.

Most of the focus will be on the state's legislative and congressional races. All 135 House and Senate seats will be up this year after redistricting as well as the state's four congressional seats.
