STILLWATER, Okla. -- Just like their January 18 meeting in Ames, it came down to ISU's final possession, trailing by 2.
But any hope of Cyclone heroics was swatted away by Le'Bryan Nash at the buzzer as Oklahoma State holds on to win 69-67.
Nash matched Chris Allen step for step on a drive over the left post and sent Allen's shot into the crowd as time expired.
It was also Nash who scored the go-ahead basket on a step-away mid-range jumper with 4.6 seconds remaining.
The OSU freshman's 18-point effort was second on the team behind Markel Brown's 19.
ISU's long-range shooting was not nearly as effective compared to Saturday's win at Oklahoma. But the Cyclones still managed 8-21 from beyond the arc.
