Investigators in Grant County are trying to determine what caused a deadly fire overnight

Flames started around 9 o'clock Friday night at a home at 11122 Highway 167 in Sheridan.  Calvert Township Volunteer Department Fire Chief Everette Watson says when they arrived, firefighters heard someone inside.

They pulled the person out, but it was too late.  The victim was declared dead at the scene.  The victim's identity has not yet been released.
