Scott Sutton's Golden Eagles extend their winning streak to 12 games Thursday night with a 97-64 win over South Dakota.
That wasn't a big surprise. The surprise was who the Golden Eagles got their spark from. 6'2 sophomore guard Mikey Manghum. Mickey had scored 56 points in 22 games this season which is an average of 2.5 points a contest.
But it seemed like he couldn't miss. He was 6-of-7 on the night, but 6-of-6 from three point range and he finished with a team-high 18 points.
Michael Craion also had 18-points. Steven Roundtree threw in 17.
Oral Roberts improves to 19-4 overall and 11-0 in Summit League play.
ORU hosts UMKC Saturday night at 7:05pm.
