Republican Congressman Tim Griffin says he's raised more than $180,000 in the last three months of 2011 for his re-election bid.
Griffin's campaign announced Thursday that he's raised $921,799 total for his re-election bid with his $180,855 haul in the fourth quarter. Griffin has $479,591 cash on hand for his campaign. Griffin is a former interim U.S. attorney who also worked in the White House during former President George W. Bush's administration.
Griffin is a freshman who was elected in 2010 to represent the 2nd district in central Arkansas. So far, no Democrats have announced a bid to challenge him in this year's election.
