Little Rock police announced Saturday that they have issued a Capital Murder warrant for the man wanted in connection to a deadly shooting outside the Discovery Club in Little Rock on Christmas Eve.

Edward Thompson III, 32, of Ft. Smith had been involved in several car break-ins when he tried to rob a man as he left the club December 24, 2011 according to police.  When the victim's brother came to help, Thompson allegedly shot and killed him in the parking lot.  Richard Ratley, 35, was killed.

Police say Thompson may have a short hair cut and a mustache and goatee. He is known to hang out around the 23rd and Fair Park area of Little Rock.  He is considered armed and extremely dangerous.  Call LRPD Homicide Detectives at 501.371.4660 if you have any information on Thompson's whereabouts.
