Cowgirls Lose At Home To Kansas

Posted: Updated:

Oklahoma State's women's basketball team fell at home for the first time this season, 65-60 to Kansas.  The Cowgirls, who had won their previous eight home games, fell to 10-4 overall and 2-3 in Big 12 play.

The Cowgirls trailed by double figures for a good portion of the first half and were down 10 with less than a minute to play.

Bias drilled a long 3-pointer to get the Cowgirls within a possession at 63-60 with 11 seconds remaining, but the Jayhawks tacked on a pair of free throws to end the contest.

Bias led OSU with 18 points and was joined in double figures by junior Toni Young, who finished with 12 points, and freshman Liz Donohoe, who added 10 points.

The Cowgirls will return to action on Jan. 21 when they travel to Columbia, Mo., to take on the Missouri Tigers at 4 p.m.
