Little Rock -
Officials with Coca-Cola have confirmed that nearly 50 jobs are set to disappear at their Little Rock facility.
A spokesman for the company says Coke is in the process of shifting some its production to facilities in West Memphis and Dallas, Texas.
The company says it hopes to avoid layoffs by moving employees to different jobs, or providing jobs at other plants.
The soft drink maker says the move is not a result of current market trends--but rather an attempt to increase Coca-Cola's efficiency.
