Former University of Tulsa center Jerome Jordan has signed with the New York Knicks.
The 7-footer will back-up Tyson Chandler, who signed with New York after helping lead Dallas to the NBA title last year.
Jordan was a four-year letterwinner at TU and was named to the Conference USA first team as a junior and second team as a senior. He was also named to the C-USA all-defensive team three times.
He finished his playing career at TU with the team and conference all-time blocked shots record with 333. His 983 rebounds ranks second on the all-time TU list.
Jordan was selected by the Milwaukee Bucks with the 44th overall pick in the 2010 NBA Draft and was traded later that year to the Knicks. But, after playing in a summer league with New York, Jordan decided to play overseas, signing with Serbian team KK Hemofarm.
