KATV Channel 7 - The Spirit of Arkansas: Santa's Senior helpers

A company that assists senior citizens in their homes is going all out to make their holiday's brighter.

Senior Helpers is offering some additional services to their clients free of charge.

It's a national program that been put in place by the company.

Their Caregivers will help the clients with all the needed preparations for the holidays.

Things like decorating the tree, shopping and wrapping presents can be a real chore for older people.

So Senior Helpers is helping to take the work out of the process.

The local owner of the company is Cheryl Doyle, who says her employees are caring people.

She says making the holidays better for their clients is not a strain on them.

Doyle says she'd recommend that other businesses reach out to assist our older neighbors at this time of year.
