With the news early Saturday morning that a tentative agreement to end the nearly five-month NBA lockout has been reached, Oklahoma City's Kevin Durant took to Twitter to express his happiness.
Durant tweeted "If this is true, I am Bouta go wake my mom n grandma up and put on a suit and thunder hat and cry! Please be true #nbaback.
Durant later tweeted "Mannnn im bouta to get a ratchet tattoo on my ribs that say 'survived the nba lockout in 2011'".
Representatives for the owners and players reached the agreement, which could bring NBA basketball back as early as Christmas Day. Neither side went into specifics about the deal, which would result in a 66-game NBA season.
Oklahoma City advanced to the Western Conference finals and took eventual NBA champion Dallas Mavericks to six games.
