University of Tulsa linebacker Shawn Jackson becomes the third different TU player to be named the Conference USA Defensive Player of the Week.
          
It's the first time in league history that, that has happened with any team.

Against Marshall, Jackson was all over the field racking up nine tackles.  Eight of those were solo tackles.

Jackson and the Golden Hurricane travel to El Paso, TX Saturday to face the UTEP Minors.  Kickoff is set for 2:00pm.

If Tulsa wins against UTEP and then again next week against Houston, they will host the Conference USA Championship game.
