KATV Channel 7 - The Spirit of Arkansas: Man admits to throwing baby, told police he was frustrated

A man who admitted to threatening to kill his eight-month-old daughter and throwing her across the room was arrested and charged with terroristic threatening in the third degree.

Gerald Pierre II, of Conway was arrested when his girlfriend took the baby to the hospital to have her checked for injuries.

According to Det. Jason Cameron, Pierre was questioned and admitted that he threw the baby out of frustration.

"While interviewing Pierre, he admitted that he had told the baby he was going to kill her before he threw her about 11 feet across the room onto a bed," Cameron said. "He told me that his girlfriend had left him alone with the baby for some time and he could not get her to stop crying and he was frustrated."
