Preheat oven to 375

 

1 Tube Pillsbury Crescent Roll Seamless Dough Sheet

1/4 Cup Turbinado Sugar Granules

       (sugar in the raw, resembles light brown rock salt)

1-2 tsp ground Cinnamon

 

Lay dough out flat and press with hands slightly to flatten. Sprinkle both sides liberally with the cinnamon and then the sugar. Press the sugar in slightly. Roll the sheet tightly into a jelly roll form. Cut into ½ to ¾ inch sections. Place on ungreased cookie sheet on the top rack and bake for

12-14 minutes until slightly brown. Do not allow to burn on the bottom. Allow cookies to cool and top with icing.

 

Cream Cheese Icing

3 Tablespoons Whipped Cream Cheese

¼ Cup confectioners Sugar

½ tsp. Vanilla

(If too thick, thin with a few drops of water)

For holidays add 1 drop of food coloring
