(KATV) Channel Seven first reported Kimberly Thomas, 46, of Searcy was last heard from by family members on September 12.

Kimberly also went by the last names Steele and Graham from pervious marriages.

Two days after White County Sheriff's deputies began their investigating into her disappearance, someone set fire to her mobile home. A deputy spokesperson said evidence was likely destroyed. Two dogs were killed in the fire.

Arkansas State Police confirm that the body discovered is Kimberly Thomas.

The investigation that is now a homicide is ongoing.
