Colorado Rockies newly acquired pitcher Alex White is scheduled to pitch Thursday when the Tulsa Drillers host Northwest Arkansas.
White, one of four players who came to the Rockies in the trade that sent Ubaldo Jimenez to the Cleveland Indians, made three starts in Cleveland before a torn tendon in his pitching hand landed him on the DL in May.
In those three starts, White was 1-and-0 with a 3.60 earned run average.
He was Cleveland's number one draft pick in 2009 after a stellar career at North Carolina.
The Tulsa Drillers are currently a game behind Northwest Arkansas for the Texas League North Division lead.
The two teams play a three-game series beginning tonight at ONEOK Field.
