Ford plans to stop making cars with CD players

Posted: Updated:

You could say it's a sign of the times. Ford is no longer installing CD players in its new Focus vehicles.

The car company is putting in U-S-B sockets for digital music players instead.

The vehicles will have a computer 'hub' where you can access your music library via the web.

Ford is the first automaker to replace CD players for digital music technology.
